A 40-year-old man of Bergenfield, New Jersey, has been charged with the killing and dismembering of a 31-year-old woman.The woman was the owner of a local lounge and claimed to have been stalked by the killer for some time before she died. While prosecutors back up this claim, there are no public records to indicate it was true.The killer is awaiting trial for murder, desecration of human remains, stalking, hindering apprehension, and using a credit card he stole. The woman killed had been a bartender for years before her death, and she had decided to use the money she made over the years to open a local lounge. She moved to the United States as a teenager.Prosecutors say that the murderer had been stalking the victim for about a week and a half, and the lounge owner showed signs of emotional distress during the last few weeks of her life.
